It attaches to the right engine mount. If an aftermarket engine mount is used, minor modifications may be necessary. This catch can connects in-line with the crankcase vent port. At low loads, it is under atmospheric pressure, but when the engine is under high load (wide open throttle), this line experiences high outflow from the crankcase. This would normally cause oil and sludge to build up in the air filter intake tube.
