The RTMG Performance R8 ignition coil kit offers a solution to common ignition problems in 1.4 TSI engines, such as misfires caused by stock coils. With this kit, you upgrade your ignition system with R8/RS6 coils, which are taller than stock and therefore require an adapter for proper installation.
This ignition coil kit has been extensively tested on our Ibiza 1.4 TSI dragster, up to 650 hp, and on thousands of 1.4 TSI engines, without presenting ignition problems, solving the misfire problem even in the most demanding setups.
This kit is recommended for most high-performance applications. As these are high-quality OEM parts, their durability and reliability are guaranteed.
The coil adapter includes spacers, screws, and washers, and is compatible with the following 1.4 TSI engines: BMY/BLG/CAV/CAX/CTH.
Includes 4 NGK R8 U5014 coils.
* Note: The BMG/BLY engine cover is not compatible with R8 coils.
