CLM Steering Angle Lock Kit for BMW E46 Red

The CLM Lock kit is a drift kit resulting from two years of work and experimentation with the front suspension of the BMW E36. The suspensions, designed by COELMOTORSPORT and manufactured using CNC (laser cutting, turning, milling, hardening, and tempering), are designed for the BMW E46. They can also be used on BMW E36 and E30 models with E36 model shock absorbers. This assembly was designed in 3D and extensively tested on tracks in Poland and Europe. The product is designed and manufactured in Poland.

The factory Ackerman correction has been completely and permanently removed. It offers a wide steering angle of up to 70 degrees (+/- 5 degrees, depending on the components used and the bodywork). The assembly is designed so that the front wheels work in parallel throughout the entire steering range. The steering discrepancy up to 40 degrees does not exceed 15 minutes (1/4 of a degree), which is unattainable with standard welded switches. The suspension arms have been completely redesigned in a 3D CAD environment, manufactured with modern machinery by qualified and certified professionals. These arms reduce the bump steer effect by restoring the nominal (factory) position of the swingarm in lowered vehicles. The suspension arms realistically lower the roll center by raising the wheel attachment point. Additionally, they extend the suspension by an extra 3 cm, eliminating the need for wheel spacers and significantly reducing unsprung mass. The suspension arms are adapted to reinforced BMW E46 ball joints. The swingarms are made of structural steel, precision CNC cut. The upper shock absorber mounts are made of aluminum alloy. A set of new reinforced bolts with a hardness of 10.9 is included.

All steering models require the use of E36 model lower-mount shock absorbers. The price includes two switches with bearings (bushings), a set of reinforced bolts and aluminum washers for shock absorbers, swingarms with bolts, fixings for anti-roll bar links and steering stops, and upper shock absorber relocators. This is the ONLY product of its kind on the market. All elements of the CLM set have a special WARRANTY that allows for the free replacement of a damaged element with a new one (after sending the damaged element to the manufacturer), regardless of the cause of the failure. The WARRANTY covers the single replacement of each damaged item. The WARRANTY does not apply to wear parts such as bearings, pins, rods, and ends.
