The original S550 Mustang subframe mounting holes are large compared to the mounting bolts. Due to the difference in size between the bolt and the hole, the subframe could be misaligned left or right by up to 1/2 inch from the factory setting. The HARDRACE rear alignment kit is manufactured using CNC machining. It slides into the subframe mounting holes to fill the gap between the mounts and the bolts that secure it. Perfect alignment of the rear subframe with the chassis. No increase in noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH). Easy installation. No permanent modifications.
