This Forge intake kit is for the VW Up 1.0 TSI & GTI.
This kit includes a bespoke aluminium housing, powder coated in black for an OEM look and durable finish. Its dual function is to protect the filter from excessive heat.
Due to the compactness of the VW Up's engine bay, the development team had great difficulty in finding a suitable location for an aftermarket intake kit. After numerous trials and exploration of different locations, we consider this intake kit to be the most suitable for the VW Up, both in terms of performance and aesthetics.
With an increase of 5bhp and 6lb.ft of torque throughout the rev range, we are very pleased with the performance results; not to mention the different sound our intake gives this powerful little 1.0 litre engine. Of course, greater gains can be expected on remapped vehicles.
The Forge silicone hose has a larger diameter and a smooth inner finish for optimal flow and is available in 3 colours: black, red or blue. Please select the colour from the drop-down list above.
