Forge Motorsport Carbon Direct Intake Kit FMINDK47-RS3 for Audi RS3 8Y 8V

This Forge carbon fibre direct intake kit is designed to fit the turbo inlet of the Audi RS3 8Y or 8V.

The original turbo elbow is a cast aluminium piece with a 3-inch (7.6 cm) inlet tapering down to the cold side inlet of the turbocharger. Forge Motorsport offers and manufactures an upgraded silicone intake elbow and turbo inlet adapter (FO-FMINLH9, sold separately) which not only increase the cross-sectional area of the intake tract but also the volumetric capacity. This has been increased to 3.5 inches (8.9 cm), making it the largest available product for right-hand drive vehicles (due to space constraints with the brake master cylinder, it is not physically possible to further increase this size). However, this does not pose an issue for left-hand drive vehicles, so several 4-inch (10 cm) variants are available. To ensure this intake works with either original or aftermarket intake elbows on right-hand or left-hand drive vehicles, Forge has incorporated an innovative solution that will be interchangeable if you wish to further improve the performance of your Audi engine.
The FMINDK47 incorporates modular fittings to accommodate any turbocharger size. The machined end of the carbon intake, at the junction with the elbow, features a 4-inch (102 mm) threaded fitting that tapers to the 6-inch (152 mm) pleated filter on the intake side. At this alloy junction, the user can use interchangeable adapters. Thanks to its high adjustability and significant increase in airflow, this product is compatible with both original and aftermarket turbocharger intake systems, whether silicone or aluminium. This allows enthusiasts to swap adapters depending on whether they are using an original or modified setup. The FMINDK47 is compatible with all configurations of your RS3.
