Increase the horsepower and sound of your Nissan 350Z's VQ35DE engine with the new Mishimoto performance air intake system. This kit is specifically engineered for your 2003–2006 Nissan 350Z and includes everything needed to replace the restrictive stock airbox. This dyno-proven intake provides maximum gains of 10 whp and 13 wtq over the stock intake, all while maintaining safe air/fuel ratios. This kit is easy to install, making it perfect for gaining a little extra horsepower on the street or at an autocross course. The Mishimoto Nissan 350Z performance air intake includes everything needed for installation, installs in under one hour, and works perfectly with the stock tune. The stock MAF housing is retained, resulting in a smooth power curve with safe air/fuel ratios. To reduce intake air temperatures (IATs), a powder-coated heat shield is positioned between the air filter and the hot exhaust manifold, significantly reducing heat soak. The heat shield bolts directly into the stock intake duct in the front support for drawing maximum ambient air into the filter. The heat shield comes fully assembled with protective rubber strips to seal it tightly against engine bay heat and prevent vibrations during operation. The Mishimoto high-flow air filter features an integrated venturi and center inlet for smooth, high-velocity airflow. Its large size provides 271% more surface area than the stock filter and ensures effective dirt and debris filtration. The included Mishimoto oiled air filter is fully serviceable, ensuring a long service life. In addition to a horsepower increase, this intake system also provides an aggressive and deep intake tone, a major improvement over the stock intake system. Power gains may vary depending on engine modifications, atmospheric conditions, ambient temperature, and vehicle mileage. Published maximum gains for this intake system may not be achieved. Filter re-oiling is not covered under the lifetime warranty.
