The Athena Cut Ring Racing head gasket is the result of constant research and development to meet the growing demands for higher performance, maximum sealing, and resistance to the extreme thermal and mechanical stresses typical of motorsport and drag racing. With a thickness of 1.80 mm and a bore diameter of 83.50 mm, this gasket is designed for high-performance engines.

Main features:

Cut Ring Technology: Combines excellent high-pressure sealing with independent recessed rings, known as Cooper rings, eliminating the need for irreversible modifications to the engine block for ring seats.

Reinforced gasket body: A steel core coated with two layers of asbestos-free aramid fiber, developed by Athena's R&D department, providing excellent thermal and mechanical resistance while maintaining perfect adaptability to the contact surfaces of the cylinder head and block.

Silicone seal: Applied in critical sealing areas, such as oil and coolant channels, to ensure maximum sealing reliability under all operating conditions.
Stainless steel support rings (AISI 304): Ensure maximum sealing capacity around the cylinders without loss of compression, even in engines with extreme applications such as nitrous oxide (NOS) or turbocharging, where boost pressure exceeds 2 bar. Specifications
