R8 coil adapter for TU5 NFU and NFX - Peugeot 106 Rallye / Citroën Saxo VTS / C2 VTS
The RTMG Performance R8 coil adapter provides the solution to common ignition issues, such as misfires, caused by stock coils. With this machined adapter, you can install R8/RS6 coils, which are taller than the stock ones and therefore require an adapter for a correct fitment.
NGK R8 coils have undergone extensive testing in our dragster projects and thousands of VW AG engines without experiencing ignition issues, resolving the problem of misfires even in the most demanding setups. This kit is recommended for most high-performance applications. As they are high-quality OEM parts, their durability and reliability are guaranteed.
The coil adapter includes spacers and screws.
Combine with 4 NGK R8 U5014 coils.
Compatible with TU5 NFU and NFX engines.
If using the plastic NFU cylinder head cover, you may need to trim the central coil rubber extensions to be able to rotate it due to the cylinder head ventilation system.
Double installation if you wish to position the coils in the opposite direction.
