Radium Engineering Fuel Level Sender and Diagnostic Gauge

This switch is only compatible with Radium Multi-Pump Fuel Surge Tanks (MPFST) and Radium Fuel Cell Surge Tanks (FCST). Both of these products feature special machined ports labeled “Level Switch.”

This 1/8” NPT fuel level switch must be installed inside the container.

When the fuel level drops, a switched signal can be sent to a unit, such as a dash-mounted gauge or a programmable ECU input, for safety. The level switch is constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and is compatible with all fuel types. It includes 24" long, 20AWG wires.

NOTES:

1. Before installation, verify the direction of the signal on a test bench.

2. The polarity of the switch can easily be reversed by removing the retaining clip and flipping the float.
3. A 1/8” NPT threaded port is required for installation.

4. Always apply PTFE pipe thread sealant to the tapered pipe threads.
If using the 20-0461 Fuel Level Switch (above), this 20-0508 Fuel Level Diagnostic Indicator can be used as a visual reference for fuel level.

When the fuel level switch is activated, the signal is sent directly to this LED.

While often not practical to view while driving, this indicator can be used to diagnose a potential fueling issue.

NOTES:

1. A 2AN ORB (5/16"-24) threaded port is required for installation.

2. If stacked on top of the fuel level switch (as pictured above), panel thickness must be at least 0.75".
