20-0461 Fuel Level Switch, 1/8 NPT
This 1/8" NPT fuel level switch is designed to be installed inside the container, as depicted below.
When the fuel level drops, a signal can be sent to a unit, such as a dash indicator or a programmable ECU input, for safety purposes. The switch is constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel and is compatible with all fuel types. It includes 24" (61 cm) long, 20 AWG wires.
NOTES: 1. Before installation, verify the signal direction on a test bench. 2. The switch's polarity can be easily reversed by removing the retaining clip and flipping the float. 3. A 1/8" NPT threaded port is required for installation. 4. Always apply PTFE pipe thread sealant to the tapered pipe threads.
