Product details
This upgraded intercooler replaces the original front-mounted intercooler. It can be used alone or in conjunction with our "Twintercooler" kit.
The intercooler uses a 650x400x50mm bar and plate core for optimal performance. We conducted tests on standard vehicles and those with larger turbos (400bhp). On the standard vehicle, the intercooler achieved an increase of +10bhp, +29lb/ft torque, and an intake temperature reduction of over 20°C. Its maximum potential is seen in modified engines, where the improvements are even more impressive.
The inlet and outlet pipes are 63mm, allowing compatibility with our Twintercooler hoses, even with the bayonet coupling removed. For those installing the intercooler without our Twintercooler kit, we include our FMKT010 silicone hoses for easy installation.
