Forge Motorsport are proud to present a complete plug and play intercooler solution for the Peugeot 308 GTI. With reports of Intake Air Temperatures (IATS) reaching dangerous levels on track days during the summer months, the engine ECU will retard ignition timing to prevent detonation. This can damage the vehicle's engine and result in a loss of power on the high-performing 1.6 litre turbo charged engine.

The development team at Forge Motorsport have managed to increase the volume of air passing through the air-to-air intercooler by the turbo charger by over 74%, with an 8% increase in frontal area over the factory original intercooler.

The FMINT30 features an anti-corrosion powder coating which not only helps to protect this intercooler from harsh environments, but also improves its thermal properties. Alternatively, it is available in a raw alloy finish for competition use and, like all products manufactured by Forge Motorsport, this intercooler comes with Forge's legendary lifetime warranty.

With no additional lag and a proven reduction in Intake Air Temperature (IATS), this is a must have for the Peugeot 308 GTI owner who uses their car for spirited road use, track days, or competition. Also, if you plan to modify your 308 GTI with software (a remap or ECU recalibration), the Forge Motorsport intercooler will provide the additional cooling and performance needed to ensure the engine remains reliable, safe, and at a lower temperature during the summer months.

Through data logging, Forge found that at 6646 RPM the intake air temperature did not exceed 24°C. This test was done on the 3rd dyno run compared to the 40°C on the 2nd run at 6647 RPM with the stock intercooler. Power increased by 7bhp at the wheels between 4500 and 6200rpm, with a gain of 12Nm of torque at 5200rpm and a consistent gain between 4300 and 6000rpm.

This intercooler kit is an easy install and therefore fully reversible. A full kit of tools is supplied.
