This competition intercooler has a core size of 620mm x 440mm x 65mm, providing 132% more volume than the original intercooler. Our engineers have increased the intercooler core size and efficiency, as well as improved the end tank design to remove any restrictions from the original system, resulting in increased flow rate and improved charge cooling properties. This Golf MK8 intercooler uses our award-winning WAGNERTUNING Competition Core, which was developed specifically for this application. It is constructed from the highest quality tube and fin cores with internal turbulators and CFD-optimized cast aluminum end tanks for the best possible internal airflow. Thanks to additional air guides in the internal inlet, a uniform filling of the intercooler is achieved. The result is excellent cooling properties and a significantly lower pressure drop than the stock intercooler. Despite its size, the complete intercooler weighs only 9.2 kg. The intercooler inlets and outlets have been increased to Ø 70 mm, so reinforced silicone hoses are included in this kit. This intercooler kit is the best choice for increased performance and low intake temperatures, and is also ideal for racing. All of our intercoolers feature an anti-corrosion coating that provides excellent thermal dissipation. Optimal cooling with significantly more power. The kit is ready for installation, with a perfect fit. Installation is easy, replacing the original intercooler. All of our products undergo rigorous quality control.
