Radium Engineering Black PTFE AN8 Straight Hose End

PTFE is the ideal hose material. It offers exceptional chemical resistance including alcoholic fuels such as methanol, ethanol, and E85, as well as leaded race gasolines. It is also suitable for brake, transmission, clutch, power steering and coolant. PTFE hoses have virtually zero permeability and do not vent vapors like rubber fuel hoses do, making them safe for use in confined spaces like a vehicle's trunk or a small garage. All Radium Engineering PTFE hoses have been successfully tested in house up to 1200psi, yet PTFE typically holds more than 2500psi. Furthermore, they are suitable for extreme temperatures (-94F to +480F). They feature an extruded PTFE (fluoropolymer) core covered by a stainless steel wire braid. The outer covering for the universal DIY ends is a braided PET. All hose ends are black anodized Type II aluminum. PTFE DIY Kits

These kits are available in various sizes. The PTFE hose used in the universal DIY kits features a black polyester outer braiding.

Each kit includes the following: - Black braided PTFE hose, 14.75ft (4.5m) - Black PTFE straight hose end (x2) - Black PTFE 45deg hose end (x2) - Black PTFE 90deg hose end (x2)

PTFE Hose Ends

These hose ends are specific for PTFE hose and cannot be used with rubber hose. Each fitting is machined from aluminum and anodized black. Internal o-rings allow for swivel.
