Developed, designed, and influenced by Forge's direct involvement in BTCC and success with the Hyundai i30N, we present an oil cooling solution for the Hyundai Kona N.

This oil cooler comes directly from Forge's competition department, ensuring optimal performance, and its effectiveness has been proven in various races and winning vehicles over the past few years. Its cores are robust enough to withstand full competition seasons and are perfect for both road and track use. The cooler has also been used in two other oil cooling solutions for Hyundai and has been redesigned to offer simple and quick installation on the Kona N.

During the development of world-leading products for the Kona N, Forge identified a significant problem with the vehicle, especially when modified. Oil temperatures can reach dangerous levels on the track or when driving in high temperatures. Increased oil temperature leads to one consequence: insufficient lubrication of internal engine components, which can, in the long run, lead to engine damage.
Forge observed a significant reduction in oil temperature during the development of this product by locating the oil cooler heat exchanger at the front of the vehicle's radiator grille, allowing for superior airflow. The FMOC14 is a must-have product for the discerning driver looking to protect the lifespan of their vehicle and ensure safe and reliable performance.

Unlike many oil cooler kits on the market, the FMOC14 keeps the original water-to-oil cooler in place, thus doubling the engine oil cooling. This product should not be confused with a universal oil cooler; the FMOC14 features a laser-cut aluminum bracket that ensures a perfect fit for the Kona N. The kit is specifically designed for this vehicle, with precisely cut braided oil lines and a clever sandwich plate design that facilitates installation. The oil cooler is also designed to be mounted as efficiently as possible, as shown in the diagram below. This prevents oil cavitation, which in some cases can lead to long-term engine damage.
