A common problem in TSI engines is carbon buildup on the intake valves. Due to the direct injection system, where fuel is sprayed directly into the combustion chamber, the intake valves are not cleaned by the fuel, leading to an accumulation of carbon deposits from oil vapors in the original PCV system.
The RTMG Carbon Oil Catch Can can reduce carbon buildup on the intake valves by up to 60%. Additionally, it prevents oil from accumulating in the intercooler and its hoses.
Our smart filtration system handles lighter vapors, while also featuring a direct and unique duct to the bottom of the separator for denser oil vapors, allowing up to 99% of recovered vapors to be cleaned.
