Forge Motorsport FMCT10 Oil Catch Can for Hyundai i20N

The FMCT10 is a bespoke oil catch tank for the Hyundai i20N. Developed by the Forge team, this catch tank not only boasts an attractive design but also the ability to capture the maximum amount of harmful contaminants, including oil deposits, unburnt fuel vapors, and moisture. All of these contaminants would, under normal circumstances, return to the engine's intake.

From the CNC machined tank to the laser-cut bracket, all components have been manufactured in Gloucester, UK. Its black anodized finish gives it a sleek OEM look, making it a functional product that also enhances the aesthetics of the Hyundai's engine bay.

Extensive testing has proven the effectiveness of the oil catch tank kit in reducing sludge and carbon buildup, thereby allowing the engine to breathe better and operate more efficiently. Therefore, it can be considered a product that truly improves performance. The 0.4L (400cc) oil catch tank features numerous characteristics designed to facilitate both checking and emptying, including a dipstick for level checking and a conveniently located drain tap.

The design of the kit has also been carefully considered, hence its inner tube made from smooth, anti-static, and fuel-resistant nitrile rubber. This is combined with an outer cover of reinforced stainless steel wire braiding (a Forge specialty), specifically a partial inner braid and a full outer braid. Forge developed this complex arrangement so that the tank is resistant to both pressure expansion and vacuum collapse, and also so that the kit operates within a clearly defined temperature range: -54°C to +150°C (-65°F to 300°F).
