The FMIC.Pro Oil Catch Can is an oil vapor separation system designed specifically for 6.2L L99 V8 engines with automatic transmission. Its function is to effectively capture oil vapors and contaminants before they enter the intake system.

During engine operation, some combustion gases enter the crankcase. The higher the power and boost pressure, the greater the amount of gases and oil vapors that are routed through the crankcase ventilation system. In the factory setup, these vapors return to the intake, leading to:

- Reduced combustion quality and power loss - Carbon buildup on intake valves - Oil accumulation in the intercooler and reduced cooling efficiency - Lower octane of the air-fuel mixture

The FMIC.Pro Oil Catch Can eliminates these problems through multi-stage filtration. Clean gases are returned to the intake system, while oil and contaminants are trapped in the catch can.
