PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Nuke Performance Coolant Expansion Tank with Oversized Vortex Chamber for High-Performance and Competition Applications.
The Nuke Performance 0.8 L Coolant Expansion Tank is designed for high-performance engines where coolant control, deaeration, and durability are critical.
Enhanced deaeration thanks to the oversized vortex chamber.
Compatible with Type A radiator caps.
Dual-chamber aluminum design with 0.8 L capacity.
AN-6 ORB inlet and dual AN-10 ORB outlets.
High-pressure operation without leaks thanks to its O-ring sealed body.
Crafted from lightweight billet aluminum and engineered with an oversized vortex chamber, this high-performance expansion tank is designed for seamless integration into pressurized cooling systems. Built to withstand extreme temperatures and pressures, while providing stable coolant circulation under demanding competition conditions. The oversized vortex chamber ensures optimized deaeration, a key element of the Nuke Performance Coolant Expansion Tank design. Hot coolant entering is directed tangentially into the chamber via the AN-6 ORB inlet, generating a rotational flow. The larger internal volume enhances air separation efficiency, stabilizes coolant circulation, and optimizes system performance compared to conventional designs.
Internal dual-chamber design with oversized vortex chamber.
Designed to be part of the pressurized cooling system.
The tank features an internal dual-chamber design with controlled cross-flow channels, both at the top and bottom. This design promotes stable coolant movement, controlled air separation, and consistent pressure management within the pressurized system. Designed to integrate into the pressurized cooling system, not as an overflow tank. The AN-6 ORB inlet port and two AN-10 ORB outlet ports allow for a wide range of connection options with our selection of fittings and adapters. An AN-6 ORB port, located in the upper section, serves as the inlet for hot coolant. Its position directs the coolant directly into the vortex chamber to optimize rotational flow and air separation. We offer a wide range of AN-6 ORB fittings and adapters to suit your installation.
AN-6 ORB inlet: directs coolant into the vortex chamber.
6 mm adapter for the radiator cap overflow port.
Main AN-10 ORB outlet: located below the vortex chamber.
Two AN-10 ORB outlets are integrated into the bottom of the tank. The main outlet is located just below the vortex chamber, and the secondary outlet is in the rest section for air bleed or auxiliary return. This configuration ensures stable coolant circulation and effective system deaeration, and is superior to single-chamber coolant tanks with a single outlet port. Compatibility with Type A radiator caps, increasing system pressure and operating temperatures for high-performance and motorsport applications. The coolant tank uses a 32 mm radiator neck, designed for use with standard "mini" Type A radiator caps. Upgrading to the Nuke Performance expansion tank allows for the use of higher capacity Type A caps, increasing system pressure and operating temperatures for high-performance and motorsport applications.
The indicated rated pressure represents the rated release pressure and operates within a defined tolerance range. The top illustration shows the intended operating range for each Nuke Performance radiator cap.
Cooling system pressure directly affects the boiling point of the coolant. Always select the lowest pressure cap that provides sufficient boiling margin for your application, as higher pressure increases thermal stability but also places greater stress on system components.
