Thermocouple Converter (TCC06) with 4-Pin DTM Connector
Discover the TCCXX family: the enhanced version of our reliable TCC01! Wondering what makes the TCC06 so special? The main difference lies in the data transmission method. While the TCC01 outputs an analog 0-5 volt signal, the TCC06 sends its readings directly to the CAN bus. Our TCCXX family is available in four different sizes and versions: TCC04, TCC06, TCC08, and TCC10.
With TCCXX modules, you can connect up to ten K-type thermocouples and conveniently transmit readings via the CAN bus or monitor them directly on your device with a WLAN connection.
K-type thermocouples are highly versatile. You can use them to measure exhaust gas temperature (EGT), temperature before and after the intercooler, cylinder head temperature, water temperature, oil temperature, and much more. The best part is that all measurements are cold-junction compensated and offer an impressive measurement range of 0 to 1250 °C with a resolution of 0.25 °C (14 bits).
TCC04 modules include a practical four-pin DTM connector for CAN and miniaturized K connectors. They are compatible with the CAN 2.0A/B standard and offer flexible configuration, meaning they are compatible with a variety of devices from other manufacturers.
But the most outstanding feature of the TCCXX models is, without a doubt, their WLAN connectivity. You can easily configure and update your module, as well as get real-time temperature data and thermocouple status using your smartphone or PC.
Setting up devices via WLAN is very simple:
- You can configure the CAN speed: 125 kbps, 250 kbps, 500 kbps, or 1 Mbps. - Choose from different emulation modes: Standard, Motec, Haltech, Ecumaster, or AEMnet. - Adjust the default CAN bus ID and select between Big Endian or Little Endian. And best of all: our TCCXX models are compatible with a wide range of control units, including Emtron, MaxxECU, Motec, Haltech, Ecumaster (black/classic), LinkECU, and many more.
