AN8 90-degree hose end, black PTFE, Radium Engineering

PTFE is the ideal material for hoses. It offers exceptional resistance to chemicals, including alcohol fuels such as methanol, ethanol, and E85, as well as leaded fuels like race gas. It is also suitable for brake, transmission, clutch, power steering, and coolant applications. PTFE hoses have virtually zero permeability and do not emit vapors like rubber fuel hoses, making them safe for use in confined spaces like a vehicle trunk or a small garage. All Radium Engineering PTFE hoses have been successfully tested in-house up to 1200 psi, though PTFE typically withstands over 2500 psi. Additionally, they are suitable for extreme temperatures (-94°F to +480°F). They feature an extruded PTFE (fluoropolymer) core covered by a stainless steel wire braided sleeve. The outer covering for universal DIY ends is braided PET. All hose ends are black anodized Type II aluminum. DIY PTFE Kits

These kits are available in various sizes. The PTFE hose used in the universal DIY kits features a black polyester outer braid.

Each kit includes the following: - Black braided PTFE hose, 14.75ft (4.5m) - Black PTFE straight hose end (x2) - Black PTFE 45-degree hose end (x2) - Black PTFE 90-degree hose end (x2)

PTFE Hose Ends

These hose ends are specific to PTFE hose and cannot be used with rubber hose. Each fitting is machined from aluminum and black anodized. Internal O-rings allow for swiveling.
