This Competition intercooler has the following core dimensions (640mm x 410mm x 65mm), which provides 90% more volume compared to the original intercooler. Our engineers have increased the intercooler core size and efficiency, as well as improved the end tank design to remove any factory restrictions, resulting in increased flow and improved charge cooling properties. This Golf MK7 intercooler uses our award-winning WAGNERTUNING Competition intercooler core, manufactured specifically for this application. It is constructed from the highest quality Tube and Fin intercooler cores with internal turbulators combined with CFD optimized cast aluminum end tanks for the best possible internal airflow. Thanks to additional air guides in the internal inlet, an even filling of the intercooler is achieved.

The result is excellent cooling properties and a much lower pressure drop than the stock intercooler. Despite its size, the weight of the complete intercooler is only 8.4 kg. The intercooler inlets and outlets have been increased to Ø 70 mm, so this kit includes reinforced silicone hoses. This intercooler kit is the best choice in terms of performance gain and low intake temperatures, and is also ideal for racing. All our intercoolers use an anti-corrosion protective coating with perfect thermal dissipation capabilities. Optimal cooling with clearly more power.
