The BMW EVO III Competition Intercooler Kit has the following core dimensions (510mm x 303mm x 180mm / stepped, 20.65L) (20 inches x 11.9 inches x 7.09 inches / stepped, 1260.14 cubic inches). The high-performance intercooler core provides a 162% larger frontal area and 182% more volume compared to the stock intercooler. Our engineers have increased the intercooler core size and efficiency, as well as improved the end tank design to remove any OEM bottlenecks, resulting in increased flow and improved charge cooling properties. We use our award-winning WAGNERTUNING Competition Intercooler Core which was designed specifically for this application. It is constructed of the highest quality Tube Fin intercooler cores with internal turbulators combined with CFD optimized cast aluminum end tanks for the best possible internal airflow. The original click connections have been removed and the connection diameter has been increased to Ø70 mm/2.756 inches (both inlet and outlet). This kit includes reinforced silicone hoses, providing excellent cooling properties and a much lower pressure drop than the stock intercooler. Despite its size, the weight of the complete intercooler is only 13.2 kg. This intercooler kit is the best choice for performance gains and low intake temperatures, and is also ideal for racing.
