They do not vent to atmosphere (VTA) so they are emissions compliant and track legal. Closed loop systems remove oil and sludge from PCV gasses before they reach the engine for combustion. A closed-loop system also promotes negative crankcase pressure for optimal performance. Furthermore, closed systems prevent unwanted oil vapors from entering the cabin. Dipsticks integrated into the catch cans allow for easy inspection of accumulated fluid. No cutting, drilling or permanent modifications to the vehicle are required.
