NOTE: Catalytic converter wrapping is not recommended, as overheating can reduce its lifespan.

Caution: Wrap is not designed to be moved or removed after heat cycles. After heating, the fibers will lose their initial flexibility. This does not reduce the thermal properties of the exhaust heat wrap. Keep this in mind before removal. For this reason, avoid wrapping flexible pipes or flex joints.

Note on Titanium Exhaust Systems: DEI does NOT recommend wrapping titanium exhausts. The alloys used in building these systems are typically thin gauge and are designed to dissipate heat quickly. Wrapping any titanium exhaust pipe, regardless of brand, can retain too much heat and cause the titanium alloy to become brittle and prone to premature cracking. If you are looking to reduce heat on a titanium exhaust system, DEI recommends using alternatives such as our flexible heat shields.
