Our baffled sump includes a blanking plate for the oil level sensor, should your car not have one fitted.

The acclaimed 1.8T engine has proven not only to be very capable of producing high power figures but also to be very reliable.

The key to this reliability lies in the lubrication system, which can quickly become overstretched when driving at high speed or on a track, leading to a lack of lubrication. Under hard acceleration, braking, or extreme cornering, oil can momentarily slosh out of the sump due to centrifugal force, causing a temporary lack of lubrication in the oil ways and risking the integrity of critical bearings and cylinders.

For those with no budget limits, a dry-sump system is the ideal preventative solution.
But for those who use it in practice, our precisely engineered solution, based on a new OEM-specification oil pan, is the perfect alternative. Carefully configured baffles and Viton oil control valves ensure that the lubricant easily circulates through the engine, maintaining a minimum capacity in the sump, even under the most extreme G-forces. The relatively soft Viton plates react much faster than equivalent metal flaps (which are often used in lower-quality alternatives) and have been designed to withstand high oil temperatures and contaminants.
