This DSG filter housing solves the warping and leaking issues that plague the standard part, and is manufactured to match OEM dimensions, including the factory-standard hex nut. Furthermore, it allows the use of the original gearbox oil filter to maintain simplicity and OEM fitment for future oil changes.
