Pad knock-back and rotor drag are eliminated. Rotors no longer warp from the stresses generated by thermal expansion and contraction of the rotors. All issues associated with thermal warpage are eliminated, including bolt hole misalignment issues when trying to reinstall new rotors on a used hat.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eReplaceable spring-loaded stainless steel inserts at each drive slot protect the aluminum hat from wear that would otherwise occur from the stainless steel rotor pressing against the hat under braking torque. A large, single retaining ring holds the rotor to the hat, which makes assembly and installation extremely easy. It is no longer necessary to torque and safety wire rotor mounting bolts.
