DC9051 EBP23 – ELECTRIC BOOSTER PUMP (PUMP ONLY)

The EBP23 is a 12 volt, brush-less, high flow (23 litres / 6.1 gallons per minute), magnetically driven water pump. The EBP motor has no brushes to wear out and the pump is magnetically driven by the motor, which means no shaft seal is required. The EBP’s numerous applications include: booster for automotive and LPG heating systems, solar pump applications, water-cooled motorcycle and go-kart engines, air/water intercoolers for turbos and domestic irrigation.

The EBP®23 is designed to complement your Davies, Craig Electric Water Pump (EWP) or mechanical belt-driven water pump, or to enhance your heater and/or cooling system, or to assist with engine block coolant circulation. The EBP can continuously circulate coolant around the engine’s cylinder head, block and bypass. It has a high flow capacity and the advantage of operating at a speed independent of the engine speed. The Electric Booster Pump (EBP®) can also be configured to continue running with a timer or a thermal switch (not included) after the engine is shut down, thereby preventing overheating.
