The oil pump system and the expertise behind it have been developed through extensive competition and experience, as this product is crucial for the long-term reliability of your high-performance engine. We have increased the oil pressure to about 7-8 bar from the original 4 bar. This adjustment provides increased oil flow and helps withstand high loads. Additionally, we typically use 10W-60 oil instead of the original specification for competition use.

The machined oil filter cap also significantly helps prevent future oil leaks.

Increasing oil pressure is a crucial upgrade for EA211 engines, as the installation of stiffer valve springs leads to the destruction of the oil film at the camshaft bearing points, resulting in cylinder head damage.

Furthermore, increasing oil pressure cools all crankshaft bearings more effectively. The increased volume of oil supplied under pressure helps reduce temperatures in critical areas such as the piston pin, cylinders, and the underside of the piston. Additionally, removing the engine management system controlled oil pressure relief valve allows for higher oil pressure even at low loads, ensuring better lubrication and increased engine life.
