ZRP Pro Series I-Beam Connecting Rods for Toyota Supra 2JZ are manufactured from the finest raw materials (817M40T steel) to cover even the most extreme applications. 817M40T is a very popular through-hardening alloy steel due to its excellent machinability in the "T" condition. Its hardness is in the range of 248/302 HB. 817M40T - EN24T can be surface hardened to create components with higher wear resistance through induction or nitriding processes. Strict tolerances in the production process ensure a perfect fit and optimize oil clearances. The bushings are made of AMPCO 18 material, which offers excellent wear and fatigue resistance. Bending and twisting are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP L19 cap fasteners which are rated at 260,000 psi, optional ARP Custom Age 625 material rated at 280,00 psi available as an upgrade, and the entire kit is supplied with ARP moly and complete assembly instructions.
