ZRP Pro Series I-Beam Connecting Rods for Subaru 2.0L EJ20 & 2.5L EJ25 are manufactured from the best raw materials (817M40T steel) to cover even the most extreme applications. 817M40T is a very popular through-hardening alloy steel due to its excellent machinability in the "T" condition. Its hardness is in the range of 248/302 HB. 817M40T - EN24T can be surface hardened to create components with higher wear resistance through induction or nitriding processes. Strict tolerances in the production process ensure a perfect fit and optimize oil clearances. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material, for excellent wear and fatigue resistance. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP L19 head bolts with a strength of 260,000 psi. Optionally, ARP Custom Age 625 bolts of 280,000 psi can be chosen. The complete kit includes ARP Molybdenum lubricant and comprehensive assembly instructions.
