ZRP "Heavy Duty" I-Beam connecting rods for the Honda S2000 F20C are designed for high-power/supercharged applications. Made from the finest raw materials, high-strength 4340 steel with a shape specially optimized for high performance and extreme durability. The "straight cut" pin end increases durability, meaning they can only be used with aftermarket pistons. The bushings are made of AMPCO 18 material for excellent wear and fatigue resistance, and have a radial groove that acts as an oil reservoir. They are shot-peened to relieve material stress and heat-treated in several stages to increase stiffness. Strict tolerances in the production process ensure a perfect fit while optimizing oil clearances. Bending and torsion are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes 3/8 ARP 2000 cap screws rated at 220,000 psi, optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,000 psi available as an upgrade, and the complete kit is supplied with ARP moly and full assembly instructions.
