The I-beam connecting rods for Citroen/Peugeot 2.0L XU10J4RS are manufactured from high-strength 4340 steel and designed for high performance, extreme durability, and exceptional rigidity. The bushings are made from AMPCO 18 material, which provides excellent wear and fatigue resistance, and feature a radial groove that acts as an oil reservoir. They undergo shot peening to relieve internal stresses and multi-stage heat treatment to increase their rigidity. Strict manufacturing process tolerances ensure a perfect fit and optimize oil clearance. Bending and twisting are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 cap fasteners rated at 220,000 psi, optional ARP L19 material rated at 260,00 psi available as an upgrade, and the entire kit is supplied with ARP moly and comprehensive assembly instructions.
