ZRP Black Nitrided Standard Intake Valves for Audi/VW 1.8T 20V (Set of 12)
ZRP black nitrided standard intake valves are designed for Audi, Volkswagen, Škoda, and SEAT 1.8T 20V engines, offering excellent durability, precise valve control, and reliable performance in both road and racing applications. Made from high-quality single-piece forged stainless steel, these intake valves undergo a specialized black nitriding treatment to significantly enhance their wear and fatigue resistance.
The black nitriding process diffuses nitrogen into the valve's surface layer, creating a hard, low-friction surface that reduces friction between the stem and guide, and improves lubrication stability. Unlike localized chrome coatings, the entire valve, including the stem and head, receives the black nitriding treatment, ensuring uniform protection and a long service life.
Each valve is precision-forged, CNC-machined, polished, and tip-hardened to achieve strict dimensional tolerances and maximum durability. This ensures consistent sealing, smooth operation at high RPMs, and reliable performance in both naturally aspirated and turbocharged engines.
