Made from 4340 steel forgings
Heat treated, stress relieved, shot peened, and 100% magnafluxed individually
Weight matched sets + 1.5 grams
Cap screws are 3/8" ARP 2000 for H-Tuff and 3/8" ARP Custom Age 625+ for H-Tuff Plus
Maximum flywheel horsepower for these rods in a 4-cylinder application is 750 HP with ARP 2000 bolts
and 950 HP with ARP 625+ bolts. In a 6-cylinder application, maximum horsepower is 1000 HP with ARP 2000 bolts
and 1200 HP with ARP 625+ bolts. H-Tuff Series
• Bridges the gap between our proven standard H-Beam rods,
and the top-of-the-line, best-of-the-best Turbo Tuff® rods
• The H-Tuff series offers a stronger rod with a higher safety margin to withstand
higher boost and horsepower levels, with a slightly higher price point
than standard H-Beam rods.
• The H-Tuff series design incorporates a wider beam and increased cross-sectional thickness in critical areas.
