Product details
JRspec forged connecting rod set with H-Beam technology for Honda B18A engines.
Made of the highest quality ANSI4340 (EN24) forged steel, with strength exceeding 200 hp per cylinder.
Vacuum degassed before processing.
All forgings are radiographically tested.
Machined (normalized).
Then shot peened (annealed).
Edges aligned.
Each bore has been ground twice (before and after bending the connecting rod), which guarantees a perfect circumference (0.01 mm tolerance). In addition, the connecting rods have been angled with a tolerance of 0.01 mm (they are perfectly straight vertically); many manufacturers show deviations greater than 0.1 mm in this aspect, which leads to faster wear of the bearings.
Each connecting rod + rod set has its own serial number. The sets are packaged and balanced by weight. END is END. The heads are reinforced with the highest quality bronze bushings in the piston pin seat.
