Product details
A set of JRspec forged connecting rods manufactured with H-beam technology for VAG 2.0 TSI, 2.0 TFSI engines with 20mm pin bore. They are made of high-quality forged ANSI4340 (EN24) steel, strength above 200HP per cylinder. Vacuum degassed before processing. All forgings are X-rayed before processing. Heat treated (normalized). After processing, they are stress relieved. Aligned edges. Each bore has been double honed (before and after assembly), which ensures a perfect circle (0.01mm tolerance). Additionally, the connecting rods are perfectly straight vertically with a tolerance of 0.01mm – many well-known brand manufacturers have discrepancies exceeding even 0.1mm, which results in faster bearing wear. Each connecting rod + end kit has its own individual number. Sets are weight-packaged and end-to-end balanced. The heads are reinforced with the highest quality bronze sleeves in the rear piston pin position. The connecting rods have been tested in a Calibra Tsunami engine over 1500HP. Length: 144mm.
