ZRP L19 Rods for Honda B18C

The Honda B18C H-beam connecting rods are made of high-strength 4340 steel and designed for high performance and extreme durability. Their lightweight design combines optimal performance with proven reliability at high RPMs. The bushings are made of aluminum-silicon/bronze and feature a radial groove that acts as an oil reservoir. These connecting rods have a reinforced pin end that minimizes deformation under high inertial loads, while also reducing weight. They undergo shot peening to relieve material stress and multi-stage heat treatment to increase their rigidity. Strict production process tolerances ensure a perfect fit and optimize oil clearances. Flex and twist are strictly controlled. Each connecting rod includes ARP 2000 hex head bolts with a tensile strength of 220,000 psi; optionally, ARP L19 material with 260,000 psi can be purchased as an upgrade.
