Product details
V1 series shock absorbers utilise a large 44mm diameter piston in a 50mm diameter damper body to maximise oil capacity. During damper operation the oil heats up. Oil viscosity varies with temperature which can lead to changes in damping characteristics.
BC Racing exclusively uses high-quality oil in its shock absorbers, but goes one step further to maximise performance and manufactures its V1 range with a 50mm diameter shock absorber body. This increases the damper capacity, increasing the volume of oil contained, which in turn reduces the maximum temperature and significantly improves its performance.
