The isolator is controlled by two external switches and can be turned off by a CAN-bus message. This message can be sent from an Ecumaster PMU16 unit in case of impact or other event. The device is configurable via CAN-bus. In addition, it sends diagnostic information that can be used by other equipment, which is valuable during setup and diagnosis. It is fully protected against overheating and overcurrent. The device status is indicated by a multicolor LED.
