This version includes an integrated thermostat that opens at 85°C, controlling the oil flow to the cooler. This design allows the oil to reach optimal operating temperature more quickly after engine start-up, and only activates cooling when it is truly necessary. This feature is especially important in daily driving, as it prevents overcooling during cold starts and normal use.
The use of an oil cooler helps reduce oil temperature, which significantly slows down its degradation, extends its lifespan, and maintains its lubricating properties, even during intensive track use. Lower temperatures also reduce the risk of engine and component overheating, and increase the total oil volume in the lubrication system, improving stability in demanding conditions. The adapter has four threaded ports:

Two additional ports with 1/8" NPT adapters for installing oil pressure and temperature sensors.

The set also includes a Viton gasket, a material recognized for its excellent resistance to high temperatures, oils, and chemicals. This effectively eliminates common leakage problems found in cheaper adapters that use standard rubber gaskets.
