The RTMG Performance R8 coil adapter offers the solution to common ignition-related problems, such as misfires, caused by stock coils. With this machined coil adapter, you can install R8/RS6 coils, which are taller than the originals and therefore require an adapter for a correct fit.
NGK R8 coils have been extensively tested in our dragster projects and on thousands of VW AG engines, showing no ignition issues and resolving the problem of misfires even in the most demanding setups. This kit is recommended for most high-performance applications. As these are high-quality OEM parts, their durability and reliability are guaranteed.
The coil adapter includes spacers and bolts.
Combine with 4 NGK R8 U5014 coils.
Compatible with TU5 NFU and NFX engines.
If you are using the plastic NFU cylinder head cover, you may need to trim the center coil rubber extensions to be able to rotate it due to the cylinder head ventilation system.
Dual adjustment to position the coils on the opposite side.
